Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she started to take part in the sports of combat. After a kickboxing training session, BJJ and wrestling, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd felt more confident following her win, and she won three fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all by the start of the round. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen in the fight, beating her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's record as an amateur was affected. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in the first round via TKO. Invicta 16 saw her move up to Bantamweight after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock out McGill via TKO in the third round (elbows & punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing the catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd was unable to reach her weight. However, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. Aspen won her fight by KO in the 2nd round. Her final fight with the promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks by an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She was a step ahead of Lina by using her ground and pound tactics which resulted in a TKO second round victory. Ladd remained in the lead, and won another big win over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd defeated Evinger with a punch during the opening round, she was awarded a Bonus Performance of the Night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was the first fight she's had in a major role. Ladd was victorious in the unanimous decision after some great exchanges with the fighters received her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her winning streak. After a break of a few seconds after which she went on to beat Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
